Hi sorry for another bitting post seems to be loads atm but none are the same as mine lol

Anyways
Oscar is coming up to 2 yo at the end of the month... I havent bitted him yet.... havent had a need..... my questions are if i dont need to (until i back him when he is 3.5-4yo) should i do it anyway for experiance? Or just leave him?

I lead him out on roads in a dually halter, he doesnt put a foot wrong (even in a normal headcollar!!) He is a real gem, i just dont wanna leave him and then subject him to everything in one go (although he has had a saddle on already!!!)

He is really chilled and isnt bothered by anything... :)

What are your opinions?
If i should bit him now or when i do what should i use? Want him in a myler bit when he is backed but dont know if this is best to bit him in? Also know it will depend on if a myler bit suits him.....anyone used them (myler bits) any feedback?

Thanks in advance guys!!
Sorry for the essay!!

If your not showing him then dont worry- even if I was to bit a youngster I would have two leadropes atached one to the dually and one to a coupling atached to the bit- so it only came into play in an emergency. I like Mylers- but some people find them too cumbersome- I have had good success with them but my current two youngsters have odd shaped mouths- one is very narrow- too small for the Mylers out there and the other has a slug of a tongue!
