To clip or not to clip?! I didnt clip last winter as we werent doing a lot. This winter, although I cant ride Monday-Friday Im hoping to be able to ride Saturday and Sunday. Now Ive been working him harder this year (lots of jumping, last year we were just hacking).
Now said horse is a tb, doing less work over winter means he keeps his weight on although if I could ride I would (sadly no lights in school).
Is it worth me clipping him when he is only really going to get warm one day a week?
If I clip him will it make him fresh?! What about if I just took a teeny tiny low neck off?
Or instead of clipping should I just fork out for a thermatex?
If I dont give him a proper clip, would it be odd if I just clipped the underneath of him where his girth goes as this area always got lots of mud clinging to it last year..?
