since there seems to be lots of cob posts recently about coloured classes etc id like to do if my boy would suit any of them? he is going through his kevins atm so dont plan on doing anything now but im hoping by summer he might be ready for a few small local outings!

please not he wasn't "bred" as such, a randy stallion jumped into his mums field! but would be interested to know what people though of his conformation (but dont be too harsh people, we are only aiming at local fun shows! :p) i think he has a huggggge head!

He looks lovely hogged and clipped out :) How big is he? Lose the white numnah, stick him in a flat hunter bridle and enter a few cob classes local level and see how you do. He'd do very well at local level if he does a nice show at the very least! :)

He looks absolutely gorgeous - how does he move ie does he move like a welsh cob or a TB (high kneed or more daisy cutting)?

If he moves more like a TB I think you could have a very very nice coloured show cob there!

Think he'd do super well, good looking boy. Accidental? Lucky you! Take him to few walk/trots just to get him used to the whole travelling/show atmosphere.

thanks :) he doesnt have any high knee action just like a normal? trot
ive just moved to a yard that does summer shows so this will help get him used to the atmosphere in comfort of his own home and they are holding some dressage comps too so will give them a try, i had wanted to take him to an inhand show - dunno if they do these specifically for coloureds/cobs? but i cannot get him to trot inhand! lol
