i was a very good mummy last week went to the tack shop sale and brought paddy a lovely new fleece :D (along with other stuff ofcourse :p)

so that happened on thursday last week and today after i rode him i thought i would chuck it on as too cold to leave him naked.
BUT there was a great big rip in it!!!! he has not had it for a week!!!!!
such a little monster.
do you know since he came back from being out over xmas its like having a different horse.

i wonder if that could be the case that someone swapped him over xmas :D:D

years ago I had a horse on loan who loved to wreck rugs. I bought him a nice expensive turnout rug as he was getting on in years and was living out and I stupidly felt sorry for him.Said rug cost me £85 10years ago and lasted less than a day. It then cost me a further £15 to replace the entire front of the rug at the local shoemenders.

Ha Ha LOL, sorry, I thought the same fate would await me this morning, my yearling benney hadn't had a rug all winter, but the rain over the last few days has been shocking, so I put it on him yesterday and he was nibbling at it before he went out in the field so I had visions of it being trashed and half eaten on the floor this morning, luckily for me it was still in 1 piece :) Have a glass of vino, it will all look better after that ;)
