Another Duckhurst report!

We braved the weather and had a great day at Duckhurst Trailblazers yesterday and I met 2 fellow HHO'ers! Hi to Sarah and randira, was lovely to meet you

My girlie was jumping brilliantly although was a bit of a nutter in the warm up and was very strong

Double clear and 4th in 85cm and then a really unlucky pole in the 95cm, last time we were there she gave a few jumps a real whack and they stayed up this time the only one she breathed on went down! Sods law

Class 2 we are 6th row (3 pics) and class 3 we are 2nd row (3 pics), the last pic in the 95cm was the last jump and it was quite big (about 1m) and as I've only had her 7 weeks I'm thrilled with how she is coming on, especially as a few weeks ago she was grazing over 2'6"!!

Sorry I missed Lis, but well done! Next time we'll have a bash at 95cm and 105cm so might see you then.

Yeah she has 2 tickets to the second rounds now, but I'm not sure whether to send my tenner off or not! lol! I'm tight

Yep she will be affiliating as soon as possible, might as well make use of my membership!

Ah thanks, she is so careful, especially for a big horse. She has only ever jumped this height once before, so I'm pleased that shes confident and happy. She's actually really quick too, think she suprises people!

The poles seemed to be knocked down quite easily yesterday we knocked 2 in the JO !! She is doing well then didn't realise you had only had her 7 weeks! Thats not very long! 1.05m - You're brave i've not done any higher than 1m class on Blue yet and that was ages ago!

Yep, only 7 weeks! We have crammed quite a lot in since then though, it feels longer.

Well, I'll say we'll do the 105cm now, but come two weeks I mught need a push and a nudge

Yes she was a little energetic in the warm up wasn't she. Settled down lovely to jump though.

Randira that's the other HHO er. Sorry I missed you. Probably standing next to you at some point and didn't even know it.
