Don't you love ebay resolution centre? They have decided I should send the saddle back for a refund which I have to say, the seller had already offered but he had refused to answer my request for a donation towards the repairs as estimated by my saddler. If he had actually said no, I would have just shrugged and left him sh*tty feedback but to ignore the question really got up my back! Last night, well past the deadline I gave him, I left neutral f/b so ebay wanted to know why, so started a resolution and they haven't really listened at all, just an automated response. Makes me wonder why I bothered.

Trouble is, I want to keep this saddle (as I told them) in all other ways it's perfect for what I want; it's a Hawk.
Why should I lose out on postage costs and the saddle to return it when this has come about only because of his deceit? That £15 can go towards the repairs as far as I'm concerned so I'm keeping it and I've very pettily left him neutral feedback saying why. It's the very first time I've had to leave anything other than positive from hundreds of ebay purchases (I'm very careful to check descriptions and pics, any doubts, I don't bid at all) so stupidly, I feel a bit guilty about it.

Anyway, end of saga you'll be glad to know, just got to get the repairs done now.
