My 17.1hh ID X TB (more TB looking) is in good fitness at the moment and is a good weight but could do with more topline but this will come with work in time, so i want a feed which will:
Help topline
Not full of energy or sugar (cuz he is already a psycho!)
Maintain/help gain weight
Good for feet as he's barefoot would be a bonus
He's out 24/7 generally with ab lib hay, exercised 5 times a week, competed once or twice a week. Exercise varies from hacking on long rein, gallops, xc practise, dressage schooling indoors etc. Usually 40 minutes - 1 hour exercise a time.
He's just on chaff and pony nuts at the moment. Was on sugar beet last winter as well, but not sure if it sent him psycho or if that was just him as i only just got him!! Seemed to chill out when i stopped feeding it though! X
