I know there are loads of posts on advice for first PN but........

Do you think Munstead will be ok for our first? My 10yr old boy started BE this yr and has done 3 intros and flew clear around Brightling and Mattingley - didnt look at anything! Thinking about starting PN courses as want to do Nurstead early next season so start preparing now......

Also, what is the PN course like at Pulborough - anything hugely scary? SJ?

If they go well then may go for PN at Borde too, providing its not on a week day......

Any info very grateful!!

Coombelands - you can school round there. Didn't go, but took my very baby intro round most of it afterwards.

Brightling is a very straightforward but jumps very big intro. I also think Mattingly is quite tough for a genuine baby these days.

Borde Hill runs a hunter trail in September which might be good experience. I thought intro is quite tough there, full coffin - very spread out but a lot for a baby, spooky water, hedge and ditch, tricky turning question etc.... Pre novice has a sunken road - can't remember any more.

South of england is a good first timers course at pn, thinking about first pn for mine here!

If you want to know more - just ask!

ummm munstead is a good pn i think, did intro last yr there and PN looked well within my capabilities then. Borde hill is quite a tricky course but i love it all the same-tough but rewarding if u ride it in the way it "likes" to be ridden. Pulborough is extremely straight forward very little spooky fences and well built and quite kind. did intro last yr have schooled round it so many times!!!!!!! def a good first time event ridden round the PN track lots too and rides very well

Good luck whereever u choose to go
