Another good weekend despite the rain!

We had a lovely day yesterday in the horrid rainy conditions at Rutland County - it was a last attempt to qualify for RI having been 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th previously. He was true to form was extremely well behaved and we got 3rd in very good company. A little disappointing being so close however we couldnt have asked anymore from him.
Also got some lovely comments from a top producer who was there, which is always nice.
The winner of the class was Hoys contender Pentrepiod the Judge with another Hoys contender being 2nd Pennal Colon Mai, absolutely dont mind coming 3rd in a crowd like that.
 
Well Done. Those are two top class stunning cobs you stood below there, i'd be thrilled if i was in your position as well!

Yes all that hacking has done wonders for him, infact i cant believe it has made such a difference he doesnt get much schooling as they think he goes beautifully, however results speak for themselves.
Thanks guys i am extremely pleased with him! He got lots of apples and carrots, musnt tell the producers they spend most of their time trying to maintain his weight.

Such a shame the weather was so appalling as it is a great show when its dry!! I had planned to paddle over to see if I could see him but to be honest it was so cold and wet I didn't hang about - especially after I heard so many of the classes were being cancelled.

Is that one horse in your sigi fihunt or is there 2 very similar ones
 
Hehe it's one horse! She just looks very different when the sun's not shining! Plus the darker photos were in September so winter coat was on the way!
