I know you probably all get sick of me rattling on about each ride I have, but today was very fun!!
I went up to the yard early and did all my jobs. I started to get all Ned's stuff ready, then I had a spark of creativity and decided to put the tinsel I'd got on his bridle
He looked SO cute and didn't mind at all.
I also put his rhythm beads on, which seemed to help, especially in canter. Usually I have trouble getting him straight from trot to canter without some weird gait inbetween, but today he was very good and did what I asked
We had a very hairy moment when trying to jump a ditch though! There was a broken, slippery bridge on one side and Ned thought that'd be the way to go! After a little kind persuasion, he went the way I was asking...even if it wasn't very stylish!
We also managed a good blast in one of the fields, I was so pleased with him
Didn't get strong or anything!
One last hairy moment, just for luck haha! There was a large brown sheet, draped over a railing, apparently this WAS going to eat him. He tried to climb a very steep bank, but I told him it wasn't the best idea and the others were leaving him behind, so he scurried past with much snorting
I then went to meet my friends at their yard and had a go on her cob and trakehner.
Storm (The cobbie) was very good
I popped him over a jump and even had a go no stirrups! He was hard to get going, but was a star!
Her other horse, Kia was also a star! She got her striding wrong a few times, but still jumped well
Anyway! Here's pictures and videos!!
(Ignore Ned's sweaty-ness! He's being reclipped soon, we'd just got back from the ride!)
