I know you probably all get sick of me rattling on about each ride I have, but today was very fun!!

I went up to the yard early and did all my jobs. I started to get all Ned's stuff ready, then I had a spark of creativity and decided to put the tinsel I'd got on his bridle :)
He looked SO cute and didn't mind at all.
I also put his rhythm beads on, which seemed to help, especially in canter. Usually I have trouble getting him straight from trot to canter without some weird gait inbetween, but today he was very good and did what I asked :)

We had a very hairy moment when trying to jump a ditch though! There was a broken, slippery bridge on one side and Ned thought that'd be the way to go! After a little kind persuasion, he went the way I was asking...even if it wasn't very stylish!

We also managed a good blast in one of the fields, I was so pleased with him :) Didn't get strong or anything!

One last hairy moment, just for luck haha! There was a large brown sheet, draped over a railing, apparently this WAS going to eat him. He tried to climb a very steep bank, but I told him it wasn't the best idea and the others were leaving him behind, so he scurried past with much snorting :P

I then went to meet my friends at their yard and had a go on her cob and trakehner.
Storm (The cobbie) was very good :) I popped him over a jump and even had a go no stirrups! He was hard to get going, but was a star!
Her other horse, Kia was also a star! She got her striding wrong a few times, but still jumped well :)

Anyway! Here's pictures and videos!!
(Ignore Ned's sweaty-ness! He's being reclipped soon, we'd just got back from the ride!)

Why should you appologise? It is nice to see people enjoying themselves properly and if people don't like it they don't have to look!

Seems like great fun and fab pics :) your pony looks sexy in his tinsel (and not at all fairyish hehe)

Sounds like you had great fun...and love Ned's tinsel. I'm going to try some on my boy, but not sure what he will think about it.
I love Storm the cob...he looks just like my cob Merlin, they even have the same wall eyes and cool moustache! (someone asked me yesterday if my cob was growing his moustache for "Movember" haha..worrying thing is I think they were serious!)

Hehe! I love horsey moustaches :P They're so cute! I once knew a Shire with a proper handlebar!

I didn't think Ned would like the tinsel, since the santa hat was a big NO NO last year :P He just shook his head and wouldn't stop! So I quickly whipped it off after getting one nice pic.
He didn't mind the tinsel at all though! He's a very funny boy.

Massive lorries - fine
Santa hats and brown sheets...NO!! (Note: this sheet looked just like his rug when it's hung up...weird horse)

I'm putting some tinsel on my hat next week :D and maybe some gold on his brow band ^^
