What color would be ok to put over plum?

Ideally some kind of brunette colour....but what shade would work without going a funny colour?

I know I won't be able to go back blonde in time for saturday, but my plan was wash it with head & shoulders untill then to remove and fade it it as much as I can. I did it last friday so have a lot of washing to do lmao,got 3 washes in today and got quite a bit out so just going to keep doing that till it's faded a bit and then was going to get a brunette shade of some sort to try.

You should be ok to put a brown over plum, i would use the same brand of hair dye though.....Maybe cut a wee bit out and dye it first, see how it turns out

I would try a medium brown, agree with use the same brand. Too dark and it might look odd with your complexion if people are used to seeing you blonde

What shade of brown would be ok to put over it?

I was naturally like white blonde before, then went brunette then went plum...but want to go back to blonde eventually but really want brunette again I think as going out sat night with everyone and don't really want plum hair anymore haha.

Generally to take hair from blonde to brown you need to put the red back in, (else it fades really fast) as you already have the plum on it should be ok to put a brown on, maybe try a medium brown. Do a test colour fist though. Good luck

I'll keep washing it to fade it a bit more as it is still very dark atm but has started fading lighter underneathe so hopefully a couple days of washing will lighten it a bit.

When I went from blonde-brunnette to start I used to the lightest shade of brunnette [iced latte] and then once this was on added praline shade to it and it went a nice strong brunette colour. Then went to dark cherry after this and then plum.
I want to go back to blonde again but obv going to take time and quite happy going brunnette again for the meawhile.

God 19 years of not touching dye and now I'm an hair dye addict it seems lmao.
