Intend to buy a new Skull Cap at Burghley, but wanted to see what you chaps recommended first, I have a J3, but after have a rather nasty fall with it, I thought I should replace it..... Have looked at the Charles Owen Gold, Pink and Black ones. What do you lot ride in.....

my friend has a ventura, which is v similar to the J3, but has a removable lining which you can wash. preventing previously mentioned stinky hat syndrome.

I have an onyx. Not one of the "fashionable" brands but it does fit my head really well. No point having a stylish hat if it pinches or is going to slip. I'd say Burghley is an ideal opportunity to try loads of different styles on and go with what suits you best

Love my J3 too but I think I will replace it with one with a vent as having had the Adventura before the J3 it was a lot cooler!
I'm thinking of the charles owen silver one as I know Charles owen fit me well!

The only hat that fits me is the Gatehouse HS1, i had a lovely J3 but as you took a real knock on the head...i thought i would just get anohter one but the new ones did not fit at all!

I have tried everything but that is the only one that fits with a bit of padding!
