I'm seriously considering a Haygain 600 but in the distant past I recall hearing they're no good with a weak power supply; I'm certain I read that but I can't find the source. My yard has a poor power supply, the sockets run off a single cable with a series of extension leads - not much on it so it's not the loading but the distance that worries me . Does anyone run a Haygain off an extension lead please or is it an absolute non starter?
