Another headdesk

At a local big pet store yesterday, there was an advert for Pyranean cross labrador puppies. The breeder had put 'Kennel Club Registered breeder' on her advert as though she had registered the puppies and they were a pure breed.

I just flipping despair. No doubt some naive buyers will not foot if off to buy the latest designer dog. I only hope the dam was the Pyrenean.

oh so do i ,thats a horrible thought. and I bet it'll be a cute little fluffball now,that gets bigger and bigger and stronger and stronger until the whole litters in rescue :L

i do feel a lot of these 'designer breed' dogs are money making schemes [I havent seen many litters advertised that say Both parents hip scored/Competed/Registered]
,and they seem to have gotten the thought across that they are KC registered breeds..a friend of mine genuinely thought she might one day be able to enter her jackapoo in crufts... Thats a teenagers thought process but no doubt adults are bought in by it too..
