Just for a bit of fun, as could be anything, but would like to hear with others think he would make.

Traditional coloured youngster was bought at 20months- stood at 12hhs. Now 24 months(maybe younger, presume last vet aged him from start of year ie January 2022 birth) and he currently stands at 12.3/13hhs. What do you think he will he make? Last owner said parents were supposedly 14hh and 14.2hh, so genetics would suggest this range. Currently he has taken another stretch in the last week and is bum high. Hooves are bigger than my other coloured who’s 14.1hh but then I would say he’s not as heavy built. I was worried he wouldn’t make 14hh but I think once Spring/Summer is here he’ll take another stretch!

If the vet aged from January, he was unlikely to have been born in January so I'd knock 6 months of the age , especially as he's grown 3" in 4 months . Try a string test on him.
24 months old I'd say he'd struggle making 14hh, 18 months old he likely will.
Has the last owner no idea when he was born?

I doubt he was a January foal, I would probably put him at being a bit younger than what he was. String test estimates him at growing another good few inches, I would say about a hand at least so here’s hoping. I didn’t actually put the string against height stick 😩. I’ll do it again. He is quite leggy, and bum has gone higher. Front end is still ‘foaly’ the way they look like their front legs come out of the same hole! Previous owner bought him off of the travelling community as they had him pulling a 2 wheeled buggy. I’m not sure if they told her the correct information which is why she’s probably referred to the vet’s advice when she had him checked over and vaccinated/passported etc

Btw. Pictures needed 🙂🙂🙂

I'd put him down at 2 1/2 when he loses his first front teeth. Keep your eyes open for him losing them.
