Hi and sorry about this question! Ok, Someone on the yard where my horses are kept, is selling all of their horses, and im very interested in 1 of them. No one no's how much they actually want for them. Ok about the horse. He is 3 rising 4 Dutch warmblood. (dont know if he has papers, and dont know anything about his dam/sire) He's 17hh, gelding. And hasn't done a thing!!! Never been lunged/long reined, or trotted in hand. Just led from the stable to the field! He can be very awkward with picking up his feet aswell. He is also slightly headshy. Never been bitted. He has a nice calm temperament and good confirmation. And he doesn't come with any rugs. Just wondered how much you would offer them for him?!

I was thinking that seen as they are desperate and its not really the time for selling that they would accept 1500?!

Jeez ! You are talking about a dutch warmblood here, probably pretty well bred, and you think that it is only worth meat money?! At least £3k - could be anything up to £20k plus if its VERY well bred!

frankly I'd give it a miss...theres plenty of good horses out there waiting. If he is headshy someone may have given him a clout because he was messing around....in a youngster that can spoil them for life. IMO £4k is a joke, unless he has come from top of the line bloodlines.
