Today was my second lesson
. I also tried a different riding school, the difference was amazing as they are a riding centre instead of a trekking centre. My riding instructor was very good, understands my needs as a rider and full of encouragement
I rode a 15.2 shire cross cob who used to pull the trap in a local village ,showing people the lovely forest. He is 17 and did a good job looking after me.
This time it was my hips giving me grief lol so she put my stirrups up a hole which helped to make me more stable in the saddle. Still working on the old hands and shoulders lol but was pleased with myself. Getting off was a lot easier this time though.
I've booked another lesson for two weeks time as I was so pleased their.
I felt so sorry for the yard owner though as the yard had been broken into at the weekend, 8 saddles gone and some bridle. Some people are scum aren't they.
