Another Livery Yard Post - Harrogate, North Yorks

Hi All

I am looking for a DIY/ assisted DIY/ Part Livery for 1 horse in the Harrogate/Knaresborough/Pannal/Kirkby Overblow area. I don't mind whether it's a big or small yard but must have someone else to hack with and arena with floodlights.

I have tried Rudfarlington but it's full and have another place in mind at Farnham but just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?

There's Crosper Farm in Spofforth, Sicklinghall Park in Sickilingall (good hacking area), Yorkshire Riding Centre. There's a few in Kirkby Overblow but I don't know their names sadly. There is one not far from Rudfarlington as you head towards wetherby - after the Kestrel roundabout there's a driveway to a house on your left, if you follow that drive (but not into the house - bear right) that will take you to a little lane - turn left and keep going. On your left you will see a yard set back from the lane. They have a small arena - not sure what the hacking's like.
 
There is follifoot nr Pannel, they do all types of livery and have an indoor and outdoor, Lisa Hoods place at Farnham they have an outdoor (prob one your already looking at £90 PW for full livery)
There is Dunns place on Bogs Lane Harrogate stables and arena just been done up tho not sure on assisted side of things, think it £17pw DIY
Farm view hall livery has both indoor and outdoor just outside Harrogate
will have a think re any others

Thanks Dizzydonkeys - I've spoken to Lisa - she is full, it's a little yard just down the road i've looked at. I will have a look at Dunns Place as i live just up the road from there. I'm actually at Farm View Hall now and want to be nearer to home plus prices have gone up. Thanks for the info!!

Apologies as your post is now a few years old, but I am currently looking for DIY livery in the Knaresborough area and noticed that you looked at yard near Lisa Hood in Farnham, I just wondered whether you still had their details as I live in Scotton so it would be very convenient. Did they have a school?
