I know there are 2 versions of this but I'm interested in the multi bridle as I like the idea of being able to use it bitless for hacking etc.

Reading some stuff on lines there are mixed opinions about whether or not it is legal for competitions - some people seem to suggest absolutely not, others claim it is fine as long as you don't use the bit clips?

I don't particularly like the ring on the nose band but I can cut this off with pliers. I just want to ensure I order the right one as I don't want to buy a bridle that I then can't use for competitions!

I thought only the Micklem competition bridle was allowed for competition, i.e. without the ring in the middle of noseband? At local level it probably doesn't make much difference ...

It is legal, I use one, we removed the ring with pliers. We use it for BE and BE without the clips and then add the clips for jumping

Out of interest do you ride the rest of the time with the clips on? I think my mare goes better with the clips but I was concerned she would voice her opinions about lack of clips, if I just took them off for the odd dressage competition, what do you think?
