Two high points for the hunting community have been rightly overshadowed, but not forgotten, by the tragedy in Warwickshire. I am sure that Trevor Morse would have been delighted to know that all charges relating to the case against Julian Barnfield, huntsman at the Warwickshires neighbouring hunt the Heythrop, have been dropped.
In addition, the news today that a further prosecution against the Devon and Somerset Staghounds has also been dropped, was another huge boost for the hunting community, and another positive step towards the repeal of the Hunting Act.
