Take 2 as don't think my first one made it through a few minutes ago. Been a lurker for a while but decided now to join properly! Struggling with getting this post to where it should be but hopefully it will make it this time!

Hello and welcome! Tell us a bit about yourself/horses?

I'm in my 40s, rode from age 8 to 15 and then out in the wilderness without horses until 7 years ago started lessons again and then went for it and bought my first pony! He's 14.1hh, native/cob X. Best purchase I have ever made!

Thank you all, knew you were a nice friendly bunch already from my lurking! It's been fun watching from the sidelines but much nicer to be mingling at the party now! I love not only hot choccy, but mochas, cappucinos, lattes, you name it!

Hi everyone!!!
I finally joined after god knows how long just looking!
Im 21 and between my mum, sister and I we have 4 horses! My mum has a 21yr old ex army hanovarian x gelding, my sister has a 3 rising 4 irish sports x cob gelding and i have a 30yr old heinz 57 Mare and a 10yr old Warmlood gelding who had kissing spine surgery today!!!
I was wondering if anyone would know any good DIY yards in Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough, Cookham etc. we are deperate to move our four lovely horses but not many places have the space!
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hi and welcome! (You're right it IS a nice forum, lots of friendly people)

MissienAB - I'm in Twyford don't know any personally so can't recommend, but I am sure there's a few DIY livery yards advertised in Countrywide at the moment, also they have an Equestrian Event on the 15th in case you don't get over that way so often. Also Bockmer at Marlow (where daughters No1 Little Grey Welshie was bred) have been advertising in the Henley paper recently.
