Another odd poo question- sorry!

Tassy's poo today was covered in a thick yellowy coating- it looked like a yellow mucus (I'm at work so can't show you the picture I took-yes I know its sad)

Now before any of you think im odd for looking at her poo so much its because I always pick it up in the village as we actually have a dog poo bin at both ends of the village

what might cause this? I've never seen anything like it so was just wondering. She is her normal self by the way

Was the poo in side the coating normal, solid ?

It maybe just the coating that comes out of the anal glands when they poo, that's what I was told by a vet, that's what the glands are for apparently

If the poo was runny then it could be a bit of an upset stomach, I'd give Yeoman natural yoghurt, few dessert spoons

The poo was bigger and much softer than normal- I struggled to pick it up. The only thing she ate that she shouldn't have done was a chip than fell on the floor while we were having dinner last night- although she was wormed on sunday?

I'd see what its like the next couple of days and go from there, it wouldl't hurt to give some yoghurt

I dont know the ins and outs of why...but I would expect to see this after worming. I wouldnt be concerned.
