I suspect this is a well known dodgy dealer. Other members of the family have been banned from keeping equines, they get round this by having them in other peoples names.
It says "contact John". Farm manager / son-in-law at the dealer I'm thinking of is called John. (Common name mind you.) Didn't know they had equine bans. It was dog cruelty that I know about (although he has a conviction for trying to bring some donkeys and a horse from Ireland without proper paperwork). Far as I know they are still openly running a stud and dealing under their own name.
Googling the phone number doesn't bring up anything. Only way of making a link is if someone phones for directions.

Why not post under your regular account? Still, I am INCREDIBLY pleased he's landed on his hooves now. Poor lad. Would love updates/pics (as I'm sure would others) as he recovers. Thank you.
Due to my own rarer breed horses making me very identifiable to anyone who could put pieces together with the rest of my posting history (and this not being identifiable is important to me with my line of work)

I attach a picture of him post clip and lice bath

today, Bertie chose to spend his day eating all the grass and taking flat-out snoozes in his enormous comfy stable (along with an electric fence breakout, foiled only by the partner of the very generous co-owner whose house he is living at!) - there is definitely a real shetland hiding in there somewhere and it's lovely to see it coming out!
