A very interesting point.
We have a crappy field (pardon the pun) that we empty buckets into and it mulches down.
When we lived in town we emptied the bucket down the manhole in the back yard once a week.

An accident waiting to happen, who knows how long it will take to impact into the food chain and the result it could have on human health. I would have thought DEFRA and Water Boards would be very interested in this.
