Just spotted this, I don't know the dog, but I do know of the owner. Can anybody help, or give me and tips that I might be able to pass on? I can't have a dog aggressive dog, as we have rather wimpy puppy already!

Tell her to go through the proper rescue channels before this little mite ends up being used as a baiting dog.

What Lexi said, anyone could pose as a potential loving owner only for him to end up as a free bait dog. She needs to return him to rescue or atleast state a stipulated price to put potential idiots off him.
Get her to google pets used as bait dogs (she will be horrified) tell her to try asking a local rescue for help.

Isn't Manchester Dogs Home technically a council pound? Sending the dog back there would be almost a death sentence in itself.
