Another proud (and brave) mummy moment with Oliver

Decided to go for a hack after tea. Hannah was going to come on Tweenie. I picked up Ollie's tack by mistake and she pleaded to go on him instead.

She has hacked Ollie before but only with someone walking with her on the ground. Big step to consider allowing her to just follow behind or inside of Patches.

Anyway, I thought "what the hell" and I'm so glad I did. He was brilliant! We were out for two hours and Oliver was passed by loads of cars, a van, motorbikes and even a quadbike. We even went alongside a field where a farmer was shooting with a shotgun. Didn't jump of flinch.

What a superstar pony he really is. I think the price keeps going up all the time!

OK I took some pics but they aren't great as I was losing the light and mobiles don't cope in low lighting situations. (well mine doesn't)

When we got back, quite dark so blurring. Doesn't he have the nicest bum ever? I'm always rubbing his bum, it's like velvet!

Isn't he just?

He's just wonderful. He really is. I cannot thank JM7 enough for considering us when he was ready for sale. To think we bought him un-tried and unseen too! (Well I did see pictures of course)

He was only lead file for a while on the bridleway as you rarely see traffic on there. He was behind on the roads.

this is the result of a young pony that has been properly backed and schooled on.

well done Hannah, she is obviously confident in her pony's ability.

It certainly is RHT.

JM7 did a wonderful job at starting him and beginning his schooling. We're now paying for excellent tuition to further his education correctly and consistently. Hannah is very confident with Oliver and he's never displayed any behaviour to make her feel otherwise. Even when he's worried or genuinely concerned by something he sees (the quadbike roaring past us being one such thing) all he does is snort a few times. He's not silly and remains calm, just anxious. Can't fault a pony which has his outlook on life.

What a super little pony!

He certainly is. We've only had him 7 weeks this weekend and he's not very old. Rising 5.
