God, Im trigger happy with the threads at the moment! Having bens wolf teeth removed this month, whats the average cost of this at the moment and how long should he rest/recover before he can be worked again? Many thanks... haven't had to deal with this in yrs!
 
Cost me £100 and I gave mine a week and an arrf off :)

ETS: I rode in my headcollar after two days. I mean no bit for 10days of so

hmmm, unbroken youngster :rolleyes: I will not be doing the headcollar trick:rolleyes::rolleyes::D But thats good, I will book him in for bootcamp 2 weeks post op :D

You'll probably get a good idea on here, but maybe also give your vet and EDT a quick call for more accurate quotes?

cheers m'dear, Im off to the vets to pay Ebonys bill on monday so I will book in and get a quote then
 
My friend had her 13.3 welshie's out a few months ago. Cost £85 but I guess some of it depends on size of horse and how much sedation is required.

Edited to add that it was a shared visit as my horse was having his teeth done at the same time
 
I got quoted 95 for vet to do it all - was a bit more for edt and vet! Round here they do routine visits where they visit the yard so it saves your call out fee? :) vet said mr v's aren't in the way tho! :)
 
Had the dentist here today to do three, one of them needed 2 wolf teeth removed, an other needed two wolf teeth removed and two very difficult troublesome caps removed and the other was just sharp. No sedation needed, good babies (one 3yo and 2 4yos all unbroken), and the total bill came to 135 euros:D. Guess we're lucky over here with cost of dentists and vets from what I read on this forum.
 
My youngster had hers out and it cost me the princely sum of £48, I think it helped that the backing yard I sent her too was right next door to the vet's though ;)

She did ground work in a headcollar for about two weeks afterwards.
