please bear in mind the upset myelf and wife are going through
this number plate could be a clone vehicle like mine has been
the best thing is to let police handle any sightings it was 2 weeks after my number plate was first mentioned that police contacted me then after dealing with that i thought it was over till last night when this site was brought to my attention
the best thing is to report all suspicious sightings to police but then let them deal with it as it could be innocent people whos vehicles are being cloned by the suspected thieves

when i contacted notts police regarding this reg no they said it was of no interest to them and they knew nothing of any men taking photos of horses or horse thefts on the horse and hound website its reported that this vechile number is registered to a cream mini bus but my daughter works for a national garage company and if she puts in the number of a vechile her computer tells her what type of vechile it is unfortunally it dosnt give personal details but when she put in that reg number it came up as a white transit van not a cream mini bus so we can only asume that this van has been brought into one of the garages somewhere in the country for a repair with these false plates on...chris

the horse and hound website anouncement is about my cream minibus reg N253 XAJ which has been cleared of all involvement this is no relation to the reg Y848 XNR
this is two seperate incidents there is the posibility that my vehicle has been cloned which is why i have personally said in agreement with police please if this plate is seen N253 XAJ on any other vehicle please tel police straight away or contact derbyshire police as they are dealing with this

This must be even more of a nightmare for you, seeing your numberplate being passed around like that. Lets hope they catch the guys soon.
