My cob has weatherbeeta 6'6 and shires highlander 6'3 rugs. Horseware don't fit her shoulders. She needs the darts.

Currently fully clipped out in a no fill Shires. But I have to turn her out slightly damp on her saddle patch and the moisture just sits there. The shires keeps her dry but doesn't seem breathable like my rhino rugs and liners. I love them but they don't fit her.

Have been looking at ruggles 50g. But generally just confused and not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts.

Have you considered the big horse shop? My elephant is wide (as in his chest bones not flab) and I have the ruggles 50g. It’s perfectly usable and a good rug but my next rug will be from the big horse shop just to give that bit more chest space. That being said I only bought the ruggles one last year and my last horse had it on for about 4 weeks so it has plenty of life left ?

sorry about pic being sideways but just showing you it on a wide boned cob0FF6A35D-97E9-4B92-AD43-3C9DC3974398.jpeg

These look good. Really she could go without a lot more but she is on livery and living out on a high hill top. Plus she has a tendency to turn herself into a giant hippo.
