Now he's changed shape yet again Flash's saddle just isn't fitting him right and I think I'll have to change it. He seems to be an absolute bugger to fit saddles to tho, we must have tried about 8 different makes of saddle over the last year and none have been quite right. He's nearly 6 and still filling out a fair bit, so ideally we need something adjustable, but nowhere seems to stock saddle company saddles locally (nearest place is 2 hours away according to website), and I don't think I can stretch to a WOW, which is a shame as they're based so close! Anyone got any recommendations? I've been told saddle company saddles aren't that comfy to ride in, and I do get back ache anyway.

i know saddle co fitters will travel, i am in Scotland and mine is coming from England this week

thanks asbo, might be worth giving them a ring then. Rowreach, can't really stretch to that much sadly, i'm intrigued tho, never had any experience with treeless

Have you looked at revolver saddles if you google it you will find their website. I saw them at the horse of the year show and they looked really nice plus an adjustable tree for a changing youngster.

WOW sometimes have ex demos for sale. Also, if you can find out what size and type you need there are a few WOW saddles for sale on e-bay.

I may give WOW a call again, was in touch with them about ex demos in the summer. I think I'd love saddle shopping so much more if I had more money!!

Barnsby are the most adjustable "traditional" trees available if you have a good saddler. Ideal are good but not as adjustable.
