Hello you lovely, helpful peeps (yes, I'm grovelling! :D) Does anyone or has anyone ever ridden in a Freeform and what do you think of them? I quite like the fact they do a seat with poleys. Ta in advance!

I've had a Freeform since 2007. Love it. I've also tried a Heather Moffett but I find the Freeform more stable.

Find them a bit pricey nowadays. If you can get a second hand one, fab. If you are looking at new then I'd try a Freemax instead.

i also have a freeform and love it, got it when the goldfinch site was closing down so got it cheaper they are lovely and comfy, hasn't slipped and i feel secure in the saddle as they have more of a twist than some other treeless makes

im also keeping my eye out for the new heather moffett leather tree saddle which is due to be out soon, synthetic start at £379 i think...

Caroline do you know when the new heather moffett is due to be out? For that price I'm definitely interested! Quite like the free form saddles to but never tried one.

I have been looking online and no one seems to sell them apart from Dream Team! My saddler only recommends the Treefree and they are very nice but I find myself leaning toward the Freeform. Do you guys ride in the classic saddle? How do you find the interchangable seats, is the velcro very secure for keeping your seat attached to the saddle? I am assuming it will be good for a big round Highland? It seems to be the narrower horses that people find they have problems with slippage and stuff.

I love them, I was leant one by a friend to try and loved it and recently found a second hand SB one on ebay which was a bargain and exactly what I was looking for.

Alot of the sellers of treeless brands have given up in the last couple of years. Goldfinch was one of them and Dream Team have taken over.

I would NOT buy anything from Dream Team Products on principle (poor customer service and do not like to give refunds for defective products) so unless I found another one second hand, I'll be using Freemax from now on.

I got the classic Freeform and I haven't changed the seat. It's a simple matter of ripping it off as it's just velcro. I use an Equitex pad with mine as I find it to be the best.

I did import my first treeless (Torsion) from a German seller in 2002 as I couldn't find any sellers in UK for a decent price. There are sites in Europe and also the German Ebay to consider.
