Another scam??

I doubt it's a scam. He was imported to the UK a while ago, but he turned out to be too difficult for the owners to deal with so they tried selling him while he was still entire.
From the range of adverts for him that have been popping up for the last year with the price getting lower and lower, it's easy to put two and two together and deduct that he is now unmanageable and they are desperate to be shot of him.

What a sad waste of a beautiful animal. No doubt he will end up passed from pillar to post now with allkinds of wannabe dealers clambering all over themselfs after a bargain they dont have the knowledge to deal with :(

I heard he had been gelded and was up for sale.
Price going down as not an easy horse to handle and now not for stud use!
So being up for swap doesn't surprise me, owners want a more suitable horse so why not?

His ad on FB has been updated to offers over 4k. Hopefully he will find a nice home, though I can't help but worry that no matter how well bred, that is too much for an unbroken youngster who's had issues in the past and can no longer be used as a stallion, certainly in this market.

I recently bought myself a well bred Paint x youngster and I admit I believe he was a bargain but his price had fallen dramatically compared to what he was originally up for as a weanling. This was due to a change in circumstances but my point is, a lot of horses aren't holding their value like they used to and people just can't get the prices. I hope I am proven wrong and that he comes on and makes someone a good riding horse.

Aparently current owner is in her 60s and gelded him in the hope it would make him easier to handle? (not sure if actually true) Very risky gamble to take imo I think he has now lost most of his value. Still hope things work out for owner and horse.
