I don't think this has been posted yet. It's a very interesting, albeit saddening, article about previous instances of cruelty on Scandic -- apparently Kittel had been reported to stewards several times before the blue tongue incident.

Thats a sin, i saw the video that went all around the world with his horse with a blue tongue, and having seen many other dressage riders, who are exceptional, its simply not necessary to be as extreme as he is.

I just dont get why he does it?
No way he could ignorantly not think he's hurting his horse, a blue tongue says it all !

I'd like to see him get booed at shows, let the public know what they think of him x

I'd like to put a tape over his nose, strap his mouth closed so he can barely breathe, and then
make him run round in circles for an hour or so with his head bent down on his
chest so he can see what its like

Poor horse, dread to think whaty happens at home

Got to remember its not just him who does it though!

Totally agree oldmare, far to many do it, but its him specifically being targeted by press. I've little sympathy though, he's certainly none for his horse x

What I find really, really worrying and upsetting is that no action was taken. Surely if there is blood on a horse the rider should be disqualified?
