So! Happy days! After moving to our new yard last saturday, my boy seems to have settled well so far! Hoorah!
My small step in confidence building this week was riding out (with my uber supportive, irreplaceable, and patient dad!) And I cantered!!!! Yes you heard it right, I cantered out in the big wide world! First 2 times were great succesess, then got a bit big for my boots on the 3rd go...the ponies ended up side by side an my cheeky boy decided to make a break for it! Cue my panic! Thankfully dad pulled po up to a nice steady canter really quick! Took me a little longer to regain control BUT still a success an jolls certainly enjoyed his little stint! He he. Talk about flying by the seat of my pants! Well, slowly slowly catch a monkey.
Wondering when my Dad is gonna get bored with me being a big wimp but am trying my best an enjoying myself in the process and loving being able to go riding in nice area with my pa again.
