yet another starved horse. On Arabian lines, sorry tale about a loan going wrong. Why do not look after their animals properly and if the hjorse is on loan and they cannot cope why not simply ring the owner and give it back?

I think sometimes some people dont want to admit defeat in a way.

Some people struggle financially but love their horses too much to give them up whether they are on loan or not.

We all know the right thing to do is give them up to someone who can cope better but for some people thats easier said than done. I spose its like them loosing part of the family as well as a hobby.

Its people who dont care about the animals and just leave them to rot that really gets me.

Obvioulsy i dont know the in's and out's but just looking at it from another point of view.

Very sad for the horse, it does make you think twice about loaning. Even if you can visit frequently a lot can go wrong in just a few weeks.
One nice thing about that discussion was seeing how well the horses in the photos could pick up after their bad experiences.

I do not care how much they claim to "love" the horse. If it is being neglegted they anything BUT love it imo. If my boys were ever failing and I could do nothing for them I would GIVE them away to someone who could.

It would be no different if it were my child. If I could not care for them or secure them a safe environment I would send them somewhere where they would have it. Now that is love
