Another stressage bit query - Myler

I am currently riding my cob in a comfort snaffle (dressgage legal mouth piece) but it has fulmer cheeck pieces with a hook - can i still use the bit for dressage if I dont attach the reins to the hook or would i be better with a hanging cheek with the same mouth piece?
We are doing a novice freestyle next week and I dont want to be disqualified!.

as long as you aren't using the hooks it should be alright, but i'd ring BD to make absolutely sure tbh.

I *think* you can't as the cheek pieces are not legal (even if you are not using them), but check on the Myler website which lists all combinations and whether they are BD legal.
