Does anyone know of any that don't have elastic straps? I don't mind elastic round the back (ie not touching the Horses skin) but don't want elastic round the front touching the skin. I don't want to spend lots on leather ones either. I prefer the ones with decent hard protection down the tendons.

I've been hunting about and the only ones I can find are the William Funnel ones. Are they any good does anyone know?

I'm not sure if this helps at all but if you would consider leather ones the Derby House own brand ones are lovely - they are not expensive for a set of tendon and fetlock boots and they look fantastic. I have the oak coloured ones and wherever I go people stop and ask where they are from. They do have elastic at the side where the buckles fasten to the boot, but the strap touching the leg is leather and not elastic. The strike pad is very hard.
