A few weeks ago I posted that my horse had a swollen pastern. Advice on here and also a call to my vet put my mind at rest. It was an over spill of fluid from his windgall causing the swelling on his pastern. Has been sound throughout although have reduced his work load. Today I took him to a dressage comp. My friend was writing for the judge and she said he commented on that leg, that is was if it was sticking? Couldn;t have been too bad as we got over 68% for the first class and 3rd, and won the second with 69.85 something like that!! He is still not lame but I am concerned now and will be calling the vet to come and have a look incase he needs rest. Any body else had anything simular? Would it bedue to the fluid that he couldn't flex his fetlock properly?
