OK, So I think we have decided on The Marlborough boxes. Had an info leaflet the other day and they appear to be within budget etc.

Just wondered if anyone had used them before and, aprox, how long does a conversion take?

PM me if you wish.

Thankies!

Im the lucky person who can borrow one when ever i like, and love it to bits !

My friend bought it already converted by malborough, and the standard is high, its an R reg new shape, and she has had it many years, i take it everywhere, and it fits upto 17'2 which is lucky as my little 16hh horse has grown over 17hh

If you talk to them, current conversion time is around 4-6 weeks, I think - at least it was last time I spoke to them. Also check out 3counties who make good solid boxes a little faster...

I don't like the partitons in Marlboroughs, but that's a personal thing. One or two second hand ones around just now and there was a northern horsebox one on ebay that was good value.

Depends if you want the Sport or the Hunter (both of the above are sports-alikes)

I had one it was fantastic, build quality was superb and you could tell they'd paid attention to ensuring the unladed weight was kept down by using the right materials so that you were not overweight with 2 horses on board.

Going to look at a 2nd hand one on Sunday... .might get over my 'not liking of the partitions' pretty fast...

will let you know
