Another vet bill post

Sounds right to me.
Our vets are less than a mile away but if we call in hours them to us its £30 call out as we are in a cirtain area.
I tend to take my horse to them unless is an emergancy or lameness!

£50 is about right for normal call out plus out of hours.

Thats very reasonable!!!
I TOOK my puppy to the vets 2 weeks ago, because it was out of hours it cost £90 before the vet even examined him! I would have expected a sunday visit to be more tbh

surely they should just charge you the premium ie the bit that is added on top of normal price, for unsociable hours?

especiall as you have taken her to them ???

I think this depends on whether they would have been there already or not. If you take a horse to the vets/call out a vet during the week they are 'at work' already. On a sunday you may well be calling them out, even if you take the horse there, as they would otherwise be at home!

I think thats very reasonable. Even if the call out was to the practice you are still having the service of a vet out of hours. I took one of my dogs to the vet on a Sunday as an emergency, vet met me there and the cost was about £70, didn't begrudge it a bit.

Snap! I`m sure my two look for something dangerous to do just to annoy me and my bank!:p
Hope your ponio is ok x
