Another week of not riding

I am having the summer from hell - if its not the horses lame through a kick, or cant ride due to an infected fly bite or they have just had jabs, or backs done or a virus - its me. - first my back - hurt like hell for a month, then i hurt me neck (through holding it funny when carrying stuff because of my back) and now finally the horses are well and so was i until.... I only go and jump over a ditch when walking the family pet and managed to twist my ankle and knee. I cant ride - i cant even get the boots on (lol) i can't drive (can't do housework either). Horses think this is the best summer of their lives !! And now they are on full livery for a week - its costing me a fortune to do nothing with em !!!

My sympathies, I'm pissed off cause I cant ride till Sunday, I'm hopeing the farrier can shoe his front foot, my back has been bugging me since last week and making me bend funny, not helping by faffing with his feet twice a day with moisterizer etc.
Hopefully I will get a go on the daughters new beast maybe thursday or friday, by the sounds of your problems I am doing well

Aww , shouldn't it it be the crocks clique? I can add YO who works in a school and her horse went lame the week before the school holidays till the last weekend before they went back - when she was away anyway!
