I would stay where you are for now especially as winter is gone so you will turnout soon then maybe look for something else.

That's the thing, I can spin either of them in my head to be "better" than the other one. The comfort of knowing the yard I'm at, knowing the people, pony being settled and the weird "guilt" of thinking about leaving for reasons that maybe weren't good enough or something? That was probably the headspace I was in when I wrote the post. The "new" yard is a competition venue, everything is pristine, the facilities have a lot of "nice to have"s (solarium, a little coffee shop etc) so it is impressive but those things don't really matter to me or the pony. And to be fair the available stable is the last available for good reason My current one does have its issues that I haven't gone into as well, which is why a few people have moved on recently, they just aren't issues that have massively affected me so I didn't mention them.some how you dont make new yard sound nice in your description.
it does sound like you’d be better there next winter. I guess depends on turnover of spaces.
