some how you dont make new yard sound nice in your description.

it does sound like you’d be better there next winter. I guess depends on turnover of spaces.
That's the thing, I can spin either of them in my head to be "better" than the other one. The comfort of knowing the yard I'm at, knowing the people, pony being settled and the weird "guilt" of thinking about leaving for reasons that maybe weren't good enough or something? That was probably the headspace I was in when I wrote the post. The "new" yard is a competition venue, everything is pristine, the facilities have a lot of "nice to have"s (solarium, a little coffee shop etc) so it is impressive but those things don't really matter to me or the pony. And to be fair the available stable is the last available for good reason 😂 My current one does have its issues that I haven't gone into as well, which is why a few people have moved on recently, they just aren't issues that have massively affected me so I didn't mention them.

I do still appreciate everyone's responses, gave me things to think about. Nobody is working with all the information, including me really, but it is still helpful.

I'd stay where you are, sounds better than the other yard I think moving there would be a mistake. You can still look for a better option during the next few months and if somewhere a lot better turns up you can move there.
