Another year....

Its 3 years ago tommorow that we had our accident. I want to treat it as just another day, as other years there has been a bit of fuss. Oh took the day off last year, and the year before and we ended up rowing, which is not like us at all!
So, do you do something special on the anniversary of the passing of your horse, (to those it has happened to!) or just go on as normal?

I haven't had one yet but planning on booking in for that day to get some additions made to my tattoo of his name I got after losing him. My friend is actually due her baby the following day, i'm hoping it arrives early to give me a happy memory to counteract the saddest one.

I try as best I can to have a normal day. I still think about Lucy everyday but do think more on her anniversary
I try to take Herbie and Merryn for a nice hack or just spend some extra time with them.
You need to do whats best for you. If you feel you just want a quiet day on your own then thats what you should do or if you want to mark the occation then thats ok to.
Personaly I like a nice quiet day just me and the boys. The pain of loosing Lucy is still very raw I don't think I could cope with a fuss, but thats just me.
I hope you are ok however you deside to spend the day. xx
