1) If you find that riding out on the road worries/frightens/aggravates you, DON'T DO IT regardless of whether or not your horse is 'suitable' for the 'horrendous danger' of modern day traffic.

2) If you have to ask, you're either a skinny attention seeker who wants to show off about their 10inch waist or, yes, you're probably too fat for your Shetland pony. Both, shut up.

3) A horse, like any creature, has the propensity to just sometimes be a knob. It's not a pain related issue in 100% of cases.

4) Parelli/barefoot might work for some, however it's not my preference of choice. Please don't preach it's benefits to me, I am not interested, but like I said, glad it works for you.

5) I have been known to ride in all manner of attire, bareback, in a headcollar, sometimes sitting on horse without a hat...this does not mean I can be branded a traveller or similar.

6) If my horse is naughty, it gets a smack, and I have been known to use a whip and give it a good crack on the arse if required. So far, the RSPCA have not issued any court proceedings for my cruelty...

7) yes, mad-cat-lady, you are 'wrong'.

Any more for any more? :D

Agree :D xx

Would also like to add;

-No, you will probably NOT need a rug if your horse is left hairy and feels warm.

-Yes, take your horse off the ridiculous amounts of hard feed if it's too fat/fizzy

1) If you find that riding out on the road worries/frightens/aggravates you, DON'T DO IT regardless of whether or not your horse is 'suitable' for the 'horrendous danger' of modern day traffic. Yeah great, so its the arena or nothing then if your yard is, erm, on a road?

2) If you have to ask, you're either a skinny attention seeker who wants to show off about their 10inch waist or, yes, you're probably too fat for your Shetland pony. Both, shut up. Or just wanting a variety of opinions on something they're not sure about?

3) A horse, like any creature, has the propensity to just sometimes be a knob. It's not a pain related issue in 100% of cases. True, but pain is often a possibility worth considering

4) Parelli/barefoot might work for some, however it's not my preference of choice. Please don't preach it's benefits to me, I am not interested, but like I said, glad it works for you. Its an open forum, people can preach if they want, just ignore them.

5) I have been known to ride in all manner of attire, bareback, in a headcollar, sometimes sitting on horse without a hat...this does not mean I can be branded a traveller or similar. Fair play.

6) If my horse is naughty, it gets a smack, and I have been known to use a whip and give it a good crack on the arse if required. So far, the RSPCA have not issued any court proceedings for my cruelty... Well I dare say there's still time. :p

7) yes, mad-cat-lady, you are 'wrong'. This has its own thread.

Do all these p!ss take threads not strike anyone else as being a bit like an American attempt at irony, or is it me missing a SOH? ;)

I have nothing to comment on this. Except to tell you Dee o-dorant, how much your signature confuses me. I'm always thinking that, thats my mouse arrow and get angry that my mouse is broken.

I'll go back into my hole now and carry on watching.

I'm doing the same but my pony isn't lame, I'm just too pregnant to ride him now :( lol, Flame if you're in glos area at all feel free to have a sit on my ginger lad, he's not going to be ridden by me for probably around 3 months!!

Sorry to hear about yours being lame, on the mend though I hope??

Aw that's so sweet of you. No, you'll probably be un-pregnant before my pony's right, he's had a tumour cut out of his foot so he'll be stuck in his stable missing a big chunk of foot for a good few months. Its only week two of box rest and its doing my head in, let alone how bored poor pony most feel!

I'll perhaps join you in NL mocking another time though if I'm in a less awkward mood. :o :)
