A friend who isn't a forum member needs to find a dentist in Berks, due to a previous bad experience she is wary of using anyone without strong recommendation so I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on Anthony Tory, particularly if he's good with difficult horses and how much he charges?

Thanks in advance :)

I've never heard of Anthony Tory but I use David Saw and he is brilliant, and really good with nervous/difficult horses.

Hi I was recommended Anthony Tory by my instructor and he did my very difficult youngster's teeth last year being very firm but patient. Came back to do them this year and had no problem with the horse at all. Would highly recommend him. He charged me £40.

He's amazing. I've seen him do horses that normally need sedating and they were absolutly fine. He just did them and they went all soppy! It was the first time my baby pony had ever had her teeth done last week, he just did her in the stable with the door open. He kisses them on the nose and makes funny sounds too, I think Milly really liked him. He charged me 35 for one of my neds and 30 for other because is on a different yard and there were loads of them being done. Hope this helps :)

Another recommendation from me; although my horse finds going to the dentist relaxing (!) and falls asleep, he used to do the ponies and donks at work which were anything but easy..
