so i have a pooly boy at the moment. I have been told to steam his hay so my other half is on with making me a steamer (any advice would be apeicated).
I have also been told to change my bedding. I am currently on choped rape straw. The vet has told me to try an get paper but i can only find paper mulch wich is probably dusty. Any ideas what is the beds antibacterial bedding.

One of our liveries used a wallpaper stripper in a wheelie bin for a home made steamer

I used a straw based shaving called pro bed which has got anti bacterial stuff in it. No idea if it's suitable for what you need tho.

Hope your horse starts to improve soon

Ohhh...... a while back now I seem to remember that for my Sweet Itchy boy you could get this Miscanthus bedding. The one I had was infused with Citronella but I think you could also get one with Tea Tree in it??

Sorry can't remember the make of it, or whether they still do it! I don't seem to recall seeing it anywhere TBH..........

Perhaps someone else on here will know??

Sorry can't be more help!

Just a thought but it may be worth ringing your local vet/equine hospital and asking what they use??
