thankfully not aimed at me! but at an agricultural show today, judge told someone off as her horse didn't have hind shoes she said it was dangerous, thankfully she didn't notice my horse had none and placed him second and said he gave her a lovely ride.

Lol! She probably has 20 cats at home and goes shopping in her slippers. Just smile and nod at the crazy old dear .

I did laugh!! but then the horse that won wouldn't canter on the right lead, it went on to win the reserve hunter and reserve supreme! lol

Maybe if she was kicked by a shod hoof, and then again with an unshod one, she might change her opinion..

oh she did witter about studs as well, interestingly I know someone who fell off and got stood on, the stud broke the bone in her arm, interestingly my horse didn't slip at all, and he was the only one the judge asked to extend. and yes judges probably can be eccentric. can't we all.
