we got my dog an anti bark collar this weekend, one of the one’s that sprays liquid out. It doesn’t seem to be doing anything when he barks… it says to test it’s working by blowing in to the mic ,which works but not when he barks. Anyone got any ideas?.
Thanks

Don't know if it's to any help, but is your dog a hairy dog?
I've heard some of these collars, have to be rather close to the skin over the throat, because it is supposed to react on something with the throat, that's only supposed to happen when the dog barks.
I read some complaints about anti-bark-collars in a swedish dog-magazine one or two years ago, and though I don't remember it exactly, I do remember some of them said that certain collars only works on short-coated dogs, short-coat such as the Dalmatian and French Bulldogs have.
Some said their collars was to sensitive, and reacted even when the dog wasn't barking, and the final advice of the article was to always try the collar in the store on the dog, do something that would trigger it to bark and see if it worked on your dog, before buying it.

from Sweden.
