Can anyone recommend one that really works. My saddle keeps slipping forward in faster gaits and it's really annoying. The saddle fit has been checked and is fine.

I'm looking at buying a Limpet or the Impakt - does anyone have any other recommendations or comments on the performance of these pads.

Also will they stick to surge panels?

Thanks

I've been useing the "gel eze" pad for the last year (with out andthing else under the saddle). It's worked very well, I think they cost around £40 and enless you clean it reguarly (swish it around in a bucket of water) you will need to buy a new one after a few months as the mud and sweat gets stuck in.

Hope this helps!!

Personally I don't like non-slip pads and prefer to use a simple piece of chamois leather which, being a natural material is kinder to the horse's back, only costs a few quid, lasts for ages and works a treat

You can get an adequately sized one for about £4 from any car supplies place, but I get mine online and pay about £12 for a big one. Make sure you get the real thing though (ie goat skin!) because some people I've suggested this to go out and buy the fake ones which are just like a yellow dishcloth with little holes in

We had both the limpet (which I never really got one with) and the impakt. The impakt really helped so would recommend this one out of the two.
