Hi just wonder if anybody uses them.
Anakan has to be stabled as he injured his fetlock joint two weeks ago, hes got to be on box rest for another three weeks
hes not a happy bunny at all and when im at the yard sorting the other horses out and doing their stables he get himself all worked up running at the door and bucking etc. He also keeps throwng his head up and banging it on the door frame.
As your probably aware he is only two, he just wants to be out with the others. I bring sonny into the next stable to keep him company which helps a little, but my concern is that he keeps bashing his head.
Well i thought about fitting a anti-weave bar to actually stop him leaning over the stable door so if he trew his head up for whatever reason he wouldnt bash it, what do you think???
Ive started tying him up at the back of the stable while i turn out and muck out and apart from whinning hes fine he just stands there as good as gold.
A little problem that i do have is that the guy who owns the yard insists on going round with his dog to check on the horses throughout the day, which is very kind of him but this only sets Anakan off agin, hes best left alone when im not around and i cant really tell him he cant go round, can i
Bloody horses they are such a worry
